These Mundo Nuovo, Catuai, and Bourbon varietals were grown in the region of Cerrado, Brazil at an altitude of about 3,000-4,000ft and are naturally processed. We have been very impressed with this Brazilian natural. It’s soft, sweet, kind of a crowd-pleaser with its nutty and chocolate notes.
The producers of this bean have a very strict and uniform production program. The climate of the Cerrado region lends to that as well, with consistent temperatures and rainfall. This allows the producers to focus on quality and production. It has very pleasant light acidity, full body, nice sweetness, with a beautiful dark chocolate flavor. It’s a very soft cup with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
